Trap - Neuter - Return

Trap, Neuter and Return is so beneficial to communities as it reduces expenses and hardship associated with overpopulation and the spread of disease. More importantly, it humanely addresses animals at the mercy of predators. By interrupting breeding cycles through TNR, a colony’s size will shrink within 12 months.

In the spring/summer of 2025, NSAR volunteers collaborated with Harris County Animal Control at several feral cat colonies, resulting in over 73 cat/kitten captures. NSAR provided PAWS of Columbus the funding to medically provide 100 spay or neuters, so as of July 31, 2025, we are at 75% of our goal.

With ongoing fundraisers and donations, NSAR hopes to provide additional funding in the fall for another 100 cats.

We welcome and appreciate all donations.
